KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William are planning a low-key trip to the US to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s newest family member, sources have claimed.
Kate and Prince William will take their children George, Charlotte and Louis across the pond to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the first time in months, according to insiders. A source spoke of a “shared desire to move on” from Harry and William’s brotherly feud.
This trip, the sources also said, will give a chance to the Dukes to speak in person and the Cambridges’ children to get to know their newborn cousin Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana.
A source told Us Weekly: “William and Kate want to meet Lili, and they agree it’s only fair that they visit Harry and Meghan on their home turf.
“Plus, they have been wanting to see more of America as a family anyway, so this is a real win-win that works for everyone.”
This trip will be kept a secret, and it won’t be surrounded by the usual pomp and fanfare seen on official visits, another source claimed.
They said: “There won’t be a lot of fanfare and you won’t see pictures of them building sandcastles on the beach in Santa Barbara.”
The first insider also told the US magazine Prince William and Prince Harry have agreed there is a need to heal their rift.
They said: “At the end of the day, William and Harry both realise blood is thicker than water.
“It’s not doing anyone any good to be locked in this bitter feud.
