No slowing down! Meghan Markle hails new project after year of ‘unprecedented challenges’

MEGHAN Markle has undertaken a new wellbeing project during her maternity leave to help people in the US affected by a year of “unprecedented challenges”.

A statement on the Archewell website said: “After more than a year of unprecedented challenges for school kids and families everywhere, the Duchess believes the path ahead must include a focus on well-being — and nourishing our communities through food, education, and emotional and mental health support.”

It comes after Meghan released her first book earlier this month, which was inspired by a poem she wrote for Prince Harry after their son Archie was born in 2019.

The Bench explores the “special bond between father and son” as “seen through a mother’s eyes”.

The front page also features a heartwarming dedication to Harry and Archie, which said they make her heart go “pump-pump”.

The book is filled with many illustrations, including one of Harry and Archie walking hand-in-hand together.

The Duke is seen wearing a grey polo shirt and blue jeans, which is a similar outfit he has been seen wearing in Los Angeles with Meghan.

He is also pictured looking down at his son, who is wearing a green top and blue shorts.

Another illustration depicted a red-headed soldier wearing an American-style Army cap, who is seen holding his young son while a woman watches them crying from a window. Read more: daily express
