Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has started the Christmas countdown a little early. Her As Ever brand has teamed up with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés on its first holiday Advent calendar, a limited-edition box of 24 handcrafted chocolates with a distinctly Californian sense of place.
A Little Piece of Montecito for Christmas
The keepsake box takes its inspiration from Meghan and Prince Harry’s Montecito home and garden. In the holiday illustration, palm trees and chickens sit alongside the festive house. It is a sunny California spin on the traditional Advent scene, with details that feel personal to the family.
Inside are chocolates developed with Compartés and flavored with As Ever favorites, including strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade. The assortment also includes a piece finished with the brand’s Flower Sprinkles and a dark chocolate ganache truffle. Each countdown number is based on Meghan’s handwriting and hand-painted in edible gold luster, according to As Ever’s official listing.
As Ever shared the finished calendar through its verified Instagram account:

The calendar is listed for $148 and is available for preorder. The product page says orders are expected in early November, giving the chocolates time to arrive before the December 1 countdown.
Christmas Planning Started in June
Meghan gave followers a peek behind the scenes as the holiday project came together, revealing just how early Christmas planning began.
In Instagram Stories shared ahead of the launch, she labeled footage with “Christmas planning in June.” The clips showed her riding in a golf cart with Compartés chocolatier Jonathan Grahm, early calendar artwork and a cameo from Pula, the family dog, carrying a toy. The Story was reported by PEOPLE and Town & Country. The glimpse appeared in Instagram Stories; the launch post above remains available on As Ever’s verified account.
A Sweet Start to the Holiday Season
The collaboration brings a familiar holiday ritual into the world of As Ever, pairing chocolate with the fruit flavors and garden touches that run through Meghan’s brand. For readers who follow her California projects, the little details in the box may be as much fun to discover as the chocolates inside.
